Personal Information James has a big family of six brothers. He started soccer at the age of four, but played all elementary school sports growing up. He was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease at the age of 11, and, after overcoming many challenges, now shares his story through an organization called Gut Inspired. In 2014 he was named the honourary chair of the Abbotsford “Gutsy Walk”, and helped to raise thousands of dollars towards Crohn’s and Colitis research.
