UFV Cascades Kyle Grewal named to the 2012 CIS National Championship Tournament All-Star Team
The University of the Fraser Valley Cascades Kyle Grewal, Surrey, BC named to the 2012 CIS men’s basketball national championship all-star team.  The fourth year veteran, majoring in Kinesiology, led UFV to a fourth place finish at the national championship.  In the bronze medal match against St Francis Xavier, Grewal scored 35 points to establish a new Cascade mark for points scored in a CIS game in the post season.  He scored 63 points during the three day tournament and pulled down 22 total rebounds.
Grewal becomes the first Cascades men’s basketball player to be nationally honoured in the school’s six years in the CIS.
