“A good weekend had by our ladies. Again a strong performance throughout. It’s always tough coming into Capilano and getting a result. There was a notable performance from Krista (Hogewoning) on offense this weekend. She was nearly unstoppable with her attack and was all over the court with her digs. Simone (Hanson) was just as impressive. She consistently sets one of the best blocks in the league and does it with little recognition. She was a game changer this weekend,” said UFV head coach Dennis Bokenfohr.

UFV women are now 10-0 in PACWEST regular season action.

Men’s Volleyball
Friday, November 15th        – UFV Cascades 3-0 over Capilano Blues 26-24, 25-18 and 25-17

Saturday, November 16th  – Capilano Blues 3-2 over UFV Cascades 25-22, 20-25, 25-21, 22-25 and 16-14

“It was a solid team effort on Friday night, spearheaded by Niki’s (Vojnovic) passing and  Ryan’s (Thain) distribution of the ball, as the boys hovered around 40 percent hitting efficiency.  Time to reset and come out strong again tomorrow night,” commented UFV head coach Greg Russell.

UFV men are now 4-6 in PACWEST regular season action.
