UFV Cascades women’s basketball team “Shoots for the Cure”

The UFV Cascades women’s basketball team will be selling Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation merchandise on Friday, February 3rd in the G Building, in the lobby, where Tim Horton’s is located from 11:30AM to 4PM. Each year the Cascades, in conjunction with the CIS Women’s Basketball Coaching Association, host a “Shoot for the Cure” night at a CIS regular season basketball doubleheader at all CIS member schools. The Cascades night is tomorrow Friday, February 3rd when they host UBC Thunderbirds at 6PM. Both the men’s and women’s basketball teams will be wearing “Shoot for the Cure” t-shirts during the warm ups and the women’s basketball team will be selling CBFC merchandise both during the day in G Building and all night in the Envision Athletic Centre at the basketball games.

A portion of the proceeds from all sales will go directly to the Abbotsford CBFC chapter. Stop by a meet the UFV Cascades women’s basketball team during the day and come cheer them on tomorrow night at the EAC.
