Cascades defeat COTR Avalanche, 3-0, remain perfect at 5-0 in PACWest

The University of the Fraser Valley Cascades women’s volleyball team defeated the College of the Rockies Avalanche, 3-0, to remain undefeated in PACWest regular season play at 5-0. The match was played at the Envision Athletic Centre. The sets were 28-26, 25-18 and 25-15.

“Tonight was a solid win as we got better with each set. COTR started the game very strong, swinging very aggressive. It was not until the 21st point in the first set that we finally caught up and we did not turn back. We had a strong performance from our middles tonight, where both Kierra Noot, Surrey, BC and Kayla Bruce, Surrey, BC had very complete games,” said Head Coach Dennis Bokenfohr.

Bruce recorded 10 kills, 3 aces and , 7 blocks while Kierra’s statistics included 7 kills and 3 blocks.
