Nine members of UFV Cascades men’s soccer team at CSA U-18 National Championships

UFV Cascades men’s soccer head coach Alan Errington and nine members of the University of the Fraser Valley Cascades men’s soccer team are representing British Columbia at the 2011 Canadian Soccer Association U-18 National Championships, in New Brunswick. The Magnuson Ford Abbotsford Mariners won the BC Soccer Association U-18 title and the right to represent BC at the finals back in August. The team is in a round robin pool with New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Manitoba and Quebec. The winner of the pool plays in the Canadian U-18 national Championship match on Monday, October 10th.

“This is a great experience for our first year players,” said UFV Cascades Head Coach Alan Errington. “As they learn the CIS game they are getting valuable tournament play at the CSA Nationals.”

New Brunswick October 5th (6-0 Win)

PEI October 6th

Manitoba October 7th

Quebec October 8th
