Mintenko wanted to thank Coach Dennis Bokehfohr, who she had played for the past two seasons, and also thank the UFV administration Karen Giebelhaus and Rick Nickelchok for their support of the women’s volleyball program at UFV. Kim also mentioned, “the dedication of Head Athletic Therapist Sarah Eckert and her staff played a large role in Kim’s success at UFV on the court.”
“This afternoon our team came out strong and took care of business right from the start. Our ladies are not one to put an individual before the team but today it seemed our 5th year, Kim Mintenko played her last home game. Today was hers and she closed out her last game with a service ace. Perfect way to finish!” said Bokenfohr.
