“Shoot for the Cure” a success at Envision Athletic Centre tonight!
The University of the Fraser Valley Cascades held their annual “CIS Shoot for the Cure” night, tonight at the Envision Athletic Centre.  The Cascades women’s basketball program led by second year guard Alexa McCarthy, Chilliwack, BC and Head Coach Al Tuchscherer and the members of the team raised close to $1,000.00 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation by selling “Shoot for the Cure” t-shirts, raising pledges from family and local community businesses and selling CBCF merchandise at tonight’s basketball doubleheader.

“I am very proud of the team for their hard work in raising funds for the CBCF,” said UFV Head Coach Al Tuchscherer.
