Capilano University Blues defeat UFV Cascades, 3-0, at Envision Athletic Centre

Capilano University Blues defeated the UFV Cascades, 3-0, at the Envision Athletic Centre.  The Cascades BCCAA regular season record falls to 3-3 as they break for exams and the holiday period.  The schedule resumes in January, 2011. The Cascades scores tonight were 16-25, 22-25 and 15-25.

“Tonight was a tough game for our team. We wanted to come out and play really aggressive. Unfortunately we rode that line and played a little too aggressive resulting in too many missed serves,” said UFV Head Coach Dennis Bokenfohr.  “We now enter the semester break where we will take some time off to focus on our studies. After the new year we will head to Calgary to play in the Mount Royal Tournament.”
Brittany Stewart, Langley, BC led the Cascades with 10-digs.  Nikita Savoy, Surrey, BC led UFV with 7-aces while Kathryn Bakgard, Calgary, AB and Simone Hanson, Coquitlam, BC with 6-kills each.
