Cascades defeat Douglass College Royals, 3-0, at Envision Athletic Centre.

The University of the Fraser Valley Cascades defeated the Douglas College Royals, 3-0, to improve their BCCAA regular season record to 3-2.  The Cascades won the three set match by scores of 25-15, 25-22 and 25-16.

“I was very proud of my teammates they played a strong game,” said fifth year veteran Kim Mintenko, Prince George, BC.
“Tonight our focus was to execute as much as possible. The ladies responded and all 14 players got on the court and were able to contribute in some offensive category. “said UFV Head Coach Dennis Bokenfohr.

Notable performances tonight by Nikita Savoy, Surrey, BC with 7 aces, 8 kills in two sets of play and Katie Bakgaard, Calgary, AB with 9 kills, 1 block in two sets of play.
