The University of the Fraser Valley Cascades are in 3rd Place after Day One of the 2010 CCAA men’s golf National Championship Tournament, held at the Dunes, in Kamloops, BC. In the team category, Humber College (Ontario) leads with 286. Nine shots better than Camosun College of British Columbia, with the UFV Cascades third at 296.
UFV’s top golfer on Day One, was Drew St. Cyr, a second year Kinesiology major from Langley, BC who shot a 72, good for a Top Ten ranking. Aaron Pauls, a second year General Studies major, from Chilliwack, BC shot 73 to rank in the top 15.
Below are the Day One individual totals for all UFV Golfers participating in the 2010 CCAA Championship:

Aaron Pauls – 73 (14th overall)
Mike Broadfoot – 74 (20th overall)
Brett Webster – 74 (20th overall)
Mitch Lock – 75 (28th overall)
Brett Stewart – 75 (28th overall)
Ian Mulder – 81 (70th overall)
Day Two will go on Thursday, October 14th and wrap up with Round Three on Friday, October 15th.
