The annual University of the Fraser Valley Cascades women’s basketball alumni game was a success drawing graduates from the original UFV varsity program when UFV joined the CIS and CWUAA. The current varsity team put on a display as they beat their “elders” by an 85-39 score.
The Cascades were led by Courtney Bartel, Chilliwack, BC with 15-points and Tessa Klassen, Winnipeg, Manitoba with 10-points. Sam Hill led the alumnus with 10-points.
