Brett Webster, Men’s Golf and Andrea McLachlan, Women’s Soccer are the Abbotsford Heat/UFV Cascades Athletes of the Week.
Webster, a fourth year Business major, from Abbotsford, BC finished in First Place in last weekends BCCAA Golf Tournament, at Kwantlen University. Brett shot 110 for the two day event helping UFV Cascades golf team win the tournament with a team score of 449. The Cascades retain their Number One ranking in the BCCAA Golf polls with the win.

McLachlan, a fourth year Kinesiology major, from Maple Ridge, BC was instrumental in keeping the Cascades in last Saturday’s Victoria women’s soccer match with her excellent two-way play. McLachlan connected on numerous corner kicks to give the Cascades opportunities to score goals all afternoon. Midway through the second half it was McLachlan’s excellent corner kick that rookie Danielle de Bruin, Victoria, BC found to score the lone Cascade goal, in their 3-1 loss. McLachlan was named Cascade Player of the Match.
