Eight members of the University of the Fraser Valley baseball club will spend the Cascades’ off-season suiting up for teams in summer collegiate leagues across the continent.

This is the first year that the Cascades are sending players to summer teams; all players will be eligible to return to the UFV program in the fall.

“It’s a great summer opportunity for our guys,” Cascades head coach Shawn Corness said. “They’re going to see some good competition, and it gives them a chance to work on the things we talked about in our exit meetings. It’s a great chance for them to develop as players.”

The list of UFV players headed to summer teams is as follows.
