Vikes defeat Cascades, 4-0, in Victoria.

The University of the Fraser Valley Cascades men’s soccer team fell to the University of Victoria, 4-0, a day after tying he Vikes at Bateman Park. Today’s match was played in Victoria. The Cascades Canada West regular season record falls to 16-1 for 4 points.

The Vikes jumped out to an early lead and never looked back as they scored three times in the first half and one more in the second half. The Cascades goalkeeper Jacob Kubanski, Chilliwack, BC made 8 saves in the loss. UFV men’s soccer program is now off for the THanksgiving holiday and resumes in two weeks.

“Well beaten and no excuses. We need to do some soul searching and the week off might be the best thing for us to be able to re-group,” said Alan Errington Head Coach.

UFV 0 0 = 0 (1-6-1)
VIC 3 1 = 4 (4-2-2)
