“We had a good first half and were up 4-0 at the break.  Defended very well late in the match to preserve the victory,” said Head Coach Alan Errington.

In the Keg Championship match the Cascades drew first blood scoring 20 minutes in on a Craig Robinson goal, his second of the classic.  The Thunderbirds would tie the match at one all, at the intermission.  In the second half, Sasa Plavsic would score his team leading third goal of the tournament, on a penalty kick, as he was pulled down in the penalty box.  The Thunderbirds would rebound from the one goal deficit to score three goals and capture the Keg Classic.

“I am very proud of the team we had a good tournament finishing second,” said Errington.
