The University of the Fraser Valley athletic department is proud to celebrate with members of our Cascades family as they are honoured this week during UFV convocation.

In all, 39 Cascades – 34 student-athletes and five athletic therapists – earned the right to walk the stage at UFV convocation ceremonies on Thursday and Friday (June 2-3) at Abbotsford Centre and accept new academic credentials.

“One of the goals of our athletics program is to see every student-athlete graduate,” said Steve Tuckwood, UFV director of athletics and campus recreation. “Congratulations to all who are convocating this week. You’re joining and great group of alumni, and we thank you for your contributions to the Cascades.”

Ryan Liddiard came prepared for convocation photos - he brought one of his old Cascades men's soccer jerseys.
