Dahl, a second-year libero from Langley, B.C., showed off his defensive abilities to the fullest in a pair of road games vs. the Douglas Royals last weekend. The Royals (4-0) edged the Cascades (2-2) in five sets on Friday and in three sets on Saturday, but Dahl excelled. He collected 20 digs in the opener, and followed up with another 15 digs in just three sets of work on Saturday for a total of 35 digs and an average of 4.38 digs per set.

For the season, Dahl is third in the PacWest in digs per set with 4.50, and he’s second in total digs with 63.

“Isaiah was outstanding for us – he really put together a complete weekend,” Cascades head coach Kyle Donen said. “He keeps getting better every time he steps on the floor. I’m excited to see what he brings this weekend.”

The Cascades volleyball teams return to action at UFV’s Envision Athletic Centre on Friday (women 6 p.m., men 8 p.m.) and Saturday (women 1 p.m., men 3 p.m.) vs. the Vancouver Island University Mariners.
