The University of the Fraser Valley rowing club is hosting an open boathouse event for prospective athletes on Saturday, Sept. 22.
The event runs from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Cascades’ facility on the Bedford Channel at Fort Langley (23180 Billy Brown Road, Langley, B.C.).
The UFV rowing team is seeking male and female students who enjoy a challenge, value teamwork, and work hard to achieve goals. The club’s annual novice program runs Sept. 24 through Nov. 14, and no prior rowing experience is necessary.
