Abbotsford, BC…..The University of the Fraser Valley Cascades women’s Volleyball player Kierra Noot is the PACWEST female volleyball Athletes of the week, for the week ending on Sunday, October 13th, 2013.

Noot,
led UFV to a pair of three set sweeps to open the 2013 PACWEST regular season, over the CBC Bearcats, in Abbotsford last weekend.  The Surrey, BC native recorded 12 kills and 7 blocks over the weekend and led the Cascades in offensive statistics both nights.

“ It was a weekend where Kierra was competing with another great middle in our league (April Vaandrager, CBC), she won the battle and controlled the net. She also was great in shutting down CBC’s outside attackers inducing a lot of roll shots and tips avoiding her block,” commented UFV head coach Dennis Bokenfohr.
