Abbotsford, BC…The University of the Fraser Valley Cascades are pleased to announce the 3rd annual Tailgate Party will be on Monday, September 9th. The Cascades will welcome the University of California Riverside Highlanders to UFV and start the day off with a Tailgate Party BBQ at 4:30pm, a great chance to meet the Cascade student-athletes and coaches and win great prizes from The Honda Way, Panago Pizza, Abbotsford Heat hockey club, Travel Cuts, Pita Pit and many other Cascades sponsors.
The BBQ Tailgate Party will be located in Parking Lot 10 between the UFV Bookstore/Baker House (Residence), Student Life and the Envision Athletic Centre. The Heat will set up their street hockey nets and give you an opportunity to play hockey against Hawkey their mascot and the Cascades Sasq ‘ets.
The event is free to all UFV students, staff and faculty. The game costs $2 for the general public and all UFV students are free.
