Abbotsford, BC…The University of the Fraser Valley Cascades men’s and women’s rowing program are pleased to announce “Learn to Row the UFV Way!”

The team is looking for new recruits. The Learn-to-Row program is open to anyone on campus and is an incredible opportunity for you to learn a new skill and to meet a lot of your fellow students. For those who work hard and succeed at the program, you have a chance to try out for a position on the varsity team. The first practice will be kicking off in Fort Langley on Saturday, September 7th at 9:00am. Various practice times will be held throughout the week with each rower expected to attend two sessions. Cost to join is $200 and includes an entry into a race on October 12th. The information session and sign up will be held on September 5th at 5:30pm in Room 219, Building D (Abbotsford Campus).
