The University of the Fraser Valley Cascades men’s basketball team is proud to announce the third annual boys’ basketball high school Valley Battle. The basketball doubleheader is set for Wednesday, November 30th at the Envision Athletic Centre (Abbotsford campus).
This year’s participants are Yale Secondary (Abbotsford, BC), W.J. Mouat (Abbotsford, BC), Heritage Woods Secondary (Port Moody,BC) and White Rock Christian Academy (Surrey, BC). Game times are set for 6PM and 8PM.
Some of British Columbia’s top high school student-athletes will participate in the doubleheader. Players to watch are White Rock’s Jack Newman, WJ Mouat’s Tristan Ettiene, Yale’s Trevor Berg and Jacquin Bennett-Boire and Heritage Woods’ Mitch Ligertwood.
“It is great to host these four very good basketball programs in our home gymnasium at the Envision Athletic Centre’” said UFV men’s basketball head coach Barnaby Craddock.
Tickets for the basketball doubleheader will be $5 for adults and $2 for students. Tickets can be purchased on game day starting one hour before tip-off.
