Cascades split with Douglas College falling in game two, 3-0

Cascades: 0-3 (20-25; 13-25; 23-25).

The University of the Fraser Valley Cascades were defeated by the Douglas College Royals, 3-0, to fall to 1-1 in PACWest regular season play.
The Cascades were competitive in two of the three sets but fell three straight to their New Westminster rival. Jason Boroevich, Burnaby, BC recorded 3 blocks, while Dillon Collett, Cloverdale, BC and Jon Dvorak, Langley, BC each recorded 8 digs in the loss to Douglass.

“Douglas definitely played much better than last night’s match…digging more than we did and winning the longer rallies. We were very competitive in the 3rd set but couldn’t quite finish,” said Head Coach Greg Russell.
