Cascades fall to the University of Regina, 4-0, at Bateman Park. Record drops to 3-6-2 in Canada West

The University of Regina Cougars women’s soccer team came to Abbotsford, BC and defeated the defending Canada West champions, UFV Cascades, 4-0, at Bateman Park. The Cascades regular season record falls to 3-6-2 for 11 points and tied for 7th place in Canada West standings with three regular season matches remaining.

 

The Cougars scored three goals within a 14 minute span of the first half and never looked back as they held the Cascades off the scoreboard for a third straight Canada West match. Regina’s Michelle Anderson made 10 saves to earn the shutout victory in the Cougars’ net.
