“It was our first road game of the season and the ladies were up for the challenge. The crowd was also very loud, and you could tell the ladies really fed off of it, ” said Head Coach Dennis Bokenfohr.

The Cascades defense was very strong tonight and our ladies were able to create a lot of points in transition. A couple notable performances came from Jenna Evans, Chilliwaqck, BCwith 16 digs, 14 kills, 1 block and 5 aces.

Kierra Noot, Surrey, BC added 1 dig, 7 kills and 2 blocks in the victory against their cross-town rivals.

“Tonight we were able to establish the middle early. In doing so all three of our middles (Kierra Noot, Kari Roos and Lara Nicoll) were consistently applying pressure on their defense.”
