Cascades defeat Camosun, 3-0, on Saturday, post first BCCAA victory of the year.

The UFV Cascades women’s volleyball team defeats Camosun College Chargers, 3-0, on Saturday, at the Envision Athletic Centre.  The Cascades record improves to 1-2 in the BCCAA following Friday’s 3-1 loss to VIU.

“Our ladies struggled at the beginning where we fell behind 12-2 in the first set, said Bokenfohr. “They showed a lot of poise and were able to fight back and eventually take back the first set.”

“It was a good team fight with special notable contributions from Tessa Neufeld (Delta, BC). She pitched in with 4 digs off the bench. Kim Mintenko (Prince George, BC) also had a solid game delivering many solid sets and very tough clutch serving (3 aces).
