The Golden Bears came out strong in the second half, showing the Bateman hopeful why they are Nationally Ranked 9th, they controlled the play and 11 minutes into the half Samuel Lam, Edmonton, AB score the goal-ahead goal on a pass from Johnstone that beat the Cascade defense.  The Cascades continued to win their share of balls during the final 20 minutes but Alberta’s team defense kept them from any dangerous scoring opportunities.  Lam would close out the scoring in referee time to send the Cascades to their fifth straight loss.
“I am disappointed especially after the great first half we had,” said UFV Head Coach Alan Errington.  “Some of our players had brilliant performances today like Josh (Atebe) and Colton (Keam).”
