Lock (Men’s Golf) and duo of Hildebrandt & Graham (Women’s Rowing) Abbotsford Heat/UFV Cascades Athletes of the Week.

The Cascades Mitch Lock, a fourth year General Studies major, from Mission, BC won the individual category of the UFV Cascades/BCCAA tournament with a two-day score of 138.  Lock led the Cascades to a second Place finish with a team score of 592, 5 strokes shy of winning their second BCCAA sanctioned tournament of the young 2010 regular season.

Samantha Graham, a first year Arts major, from Langley, BC and Becky Hildebrandt, a third year Science major, from Abbotsford, BC earned the Silver Medal, this past weekend, in the Women’s Lightweight Doubles, at Head of the Nicomekl (Crescent Beach, BC).   The dynamic duo finished the race with a time of 29:23, missing the gold medal by .08.  There were 14 boats in the race.
