UFV men’s volleyball makes it 11 in a row

Abbotsford, B.C.—The University of the Fraser Valley men’s volleyball team had another weekend sweep and stretch their winning streak to 11 games. The Cascades have been taking care of business, and Saturday was no different as they took it to the Selkirk Saints winning 3-1; 25-20, 25-18, 23-25 and 25-16.

It was an afternoon where Mike Wesnoski, Daryl Wiebe, Tristan Taylor and Joel Ewald were honored with 5th year awards and they did not disappoint their fans. The Cascades maturity really showed throughout the match as their composure never appeared to waiver.

UFV looks forward to their last league games next weekend against #1 ranked UBCO. UFV comes into the weekend ranked #3 in the province and looks to have a strong weekend in Kelowna.
