Cascades women’s volleyball team drops pair at Capilano

The University of the Fraser Valley women’s volleyball team had its long winning streak snapped Friday evening in North Vancouver with a straight-set loss to Capilano.

By Saturday, the Cascades were riding a two-game losing streak in British Columbia Colleges’ Athletic Conference (BCCAA) action.

UFV went down in four games to the host Blues Saturday. Game scores were 25-19, 25-18, 23-25, 28-26.

The Cascades fell to 8-4 with the loss, while Capilano, second in the standings, improved to 12-2.

UFV will host Selkirk Feb. 5-6 at Envision Athletic Centre.
