Cascades lose to Heat

VICTORIA, BC- The #1 ranked team in the country was able to defeat the Cascades in three entertaining, hard fought sets in the BCCAA Provincial Women’s Volleyball Semi-Final Championship.

The Cascades battled hard but were unable to slow down the offense of the Heat, as they took the Match in three consecutive sets. (25-13, 25-17, 25-13)

Kim Mintenko posted a solid performance and was strong throughout the match, earning her the Player of the Match award for the Cascades.

Although gold medal hopes are out of reach for the Cascades, they will compete in the bronze medal game Saturday, February 27 at 1pm against Capilano University.
