Cascades men’s volleyball team beats Camosun College for sixth-straight win

ABBOTSFORD, BC— After a slow start to the season which saw them lose their first three matches, the University of the Fraser Valley men’s volleyball team is making a charge toward the top teams in the standings. The Cascades won their sixth-straight match Saturday with a four-set victory over Camosun College in British Columbia Colleges’ Athletic Conference (BCCAA) action at Envision Athletic Centre in Abbotsford.

The Cascades improved to 6-3 with the victory, while the Chargers fell to 6-6.

The teams went to the limit in the first game, with UFV pulling out a 25-23 win.

Camosun came back to even the match with a 25-21 victory.

But Fraser Valley battled back to take back-to-back games by scores of 25-22 to win the match in four games

The Cascades, winners of six in a row, host Camosun at EAC Sunday, Jan. 24 at 1 p.m.
