Wellness Fitness Programs are FREE for all UFV students, as long as you have obtained an Access Pass! Below you will find more information on how to obtain your pass. EMPLOYEES: Please click here for pricing and registration. Pricing also applies to UFV alumni and community members.
How to get an Access Pass?
- First you will need to sign a waiver or informed consent. This can be done at the Client Service Desk in Abbotsford (E150). In Chilliwack, you can do this with the fitness instructor.
- Once a waiver has been signed you will be issued a personalized Group Fitness Access Pass.
How it works once you have your Group Fitness Access Pass?
- Prior to each class you attend you will need to “Check-in” by RSVPing to your desired Fitness class on MyCampusLife-Campus Recreation. See rules about checking in for Spin & Strength.
- Show your Campus Card and your personalized Access Pass to the Instructor to gain access. Make sure you don’t forget your cards, or you might be denied access.
It is important to let the fitness instructor know if you are new to group exercise, suffering from any health conditions or recovering from an injury. Being more active is generally safe for most people. However, some people should check with their doctor before they start becoming much more physically active. For more information click here.
Please bring water and wear comfortable athletic clothing and footwear to all classes. Yoga mats are provided, yet it is recommended to provide your own.
*Wellness Programs in Chilliwack are brought to you in partnership with your UFV Student Union Society as part of your UPass Program.
